had a little idea today

i had an idea today for something funny i could maybe write so i'm putting here so i don't forget about it

so today was the last day of school for the seniors and obviously it was fucking chaos but no teachers were actually gonna try to make them calm down with the year we've had so a lot of teachers kinda got caught in the middle of screaming mobs of kids and just kinda went with it and i witnessed/heard some funny shit that happened to a certain shs assistant principal that kinda inspired me

basically my idea is a short play or maybe film (i'm unsure of exactly how i would want it to be presented but i don't think the concept could stretch past like twenty minutes but also idk.) about a vice principal on the last day of school that just keeps getting caught up in shit and is pretty clueless and just goes with it. i dont know what the overarching conflict would be for the most part it would just be silly and funny and a sweaty middle aged guy dealing with how the fuck do you get a sailboat out of the gym from the senior prank.

my two inspirational moments were as follows:

lily and i were walking in the hall and a bunch of people weren't wearing their masks and no teachers were saying anything cause theyre fucking useless lol and lily said "i could yell 'pull it up asshole' to someone wearing their mask wrong and i would get in trouble for swearing but they wouldn't get in trouble at all" and i said "what if when you yelled 'pull it up asshole' luette (who was in the hall at the time) looked self conscious and pulled his pants up" and i thought that was a very funny concept

i heard this one from lily but apparently a bunch of seniors were crowding the stoop at the top of the stairs and a teacher was telling them to leave cause there was too many of them and they started chanting "we're not leaving" and luette joined in because he thought "we're not leaving" was referring to them not leaving shs because they *love* this town so much which was. not the case for sure

anyways i think it would be funny if it opened with the vice principal like getting ready for the day cause he knows it's gonna be a lot to handle and maybe it could be like a mockumentary where he has commentary and stuff and now that i've thought about it more it would definitely work better as a film vs a play but yeah i like this idea a lot :D thank u for reading my stream of consciousness if you've read this far
